As we're focusing on new opportunities for growth on the African continent, it is also worth exploring the prospects that not only major emerging world economies hold, but also those within the developing markets. Brazil, Russia, India and China - the so-called BRIC countries -are considered the main emerging economies worldwide. However, in a white paper published by Euromonitor, researchers point out that markets in Sao Tome e Principe, South Sudan and Guinea in Africa, among other countries on the continent, are forecasted to be the fastest growing of all emerging markets worldwide in the next six years. Their expected growth rate far surpassed those of BRIC.
