Latest Developments in the Application of Electrical Process Tomography to Improve Process Understanding and Control

Electrical tomography provides real-time images of process conditions through the differences in materials and electrical properties (conductivity or capaci-tance). The technology was pioneered by Manchester University, England and ITS was formed to commercialize this research and has since developed both electrical resistance and capacitance measurement platforms.
