The Bonga Southwest/Aparo development is project managed by Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company(SNEPCo),partnered by Chevron,ExxonMobil,Total,Agip and Sasoil.The first major deepwater project for SNEPCo,the Bonga field lies 120 km off the coast of the Niger Delta and production started in 2005.The proposed Bonga Southwest/Aparo facilities will be situated some 10 km away from the existing Bonga infrastructure,in 1,300 metres water depth.
