UK's Aberdeen bid to host 20th WPC

The UK's bid to host the 70th World Petroleum Congress in 2011 was formally launched on 6 September,with Aberdeen confirmed as the candidate host city.The World Petroleum Council will be meeting in Montevideo in November of this year to decide the location for the 2011 World Petroleum Congress.The UK Bid Committee is asking the world's industry players and World Petroleum Council members to lobby their national committees to support the UK bid.
