Pressure Drop in a Horizontal Packed Pipe

摘要

A new correlation for pressure drop through packed bed has been developed. Experimental measurements of pressure drop and velocity arc measured in horizontal packed pipe with homogenous spherical pellets. Generally, good agreement has been obtained between the experimental measurements and the corresponding predicted values with an average absolute error of 5.8% for 32 data points.
