摘要

The Energy, Environment and Resource Governance team at Chatham House has published a new briefing paper looking at the impact of the Arab uprisings on the international oil markets. Authored by Paul Stevens, the paper notes that although there have been no serious threats to global supplies since the Arab uprisings started, oil prices will remain volatile as political developments combine with global economic gloom, and surviving regimes spend to pacify populations.
