The Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector (AGRI) is a proposal for LNG transportation across the Black Sea. It is planned to utilise an existing trans-Caucasus pipeline to take Azeri gas to Georgia, to be liquefied at an LNG terminal yet to be constructed, but to be most likely located in the port of Kulevi, north of Poti. The gas would then be shipped in tankers across the Black Sea. On arrival at the terminal in the Romanian port of Constant a, the LNG would then be re-gasified and enter Romania's transmission system.
