摘要

Worldwide prices for petrol and diesel could be forced up further after Russia moved to curb fuel exports during May in an effort to offset domestic shortages. Bob Palmer, partner at city law firm CMS Cameron McKenna, said Russia's move was likely to squeeze supplies and lift prices since Russia is one of the largest producers of oil and refined products. 'For importers without contracts at fixed prices this is going to cause problems. Taking Russian supplies out of the market will mean importers will have to look elsewhere.
