IGB contracts in the pipeline

A consortium comprising Penspen and C&M Engineering has signed contracts for front-end engineering and design (FEED) and the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the proposed Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (IGB) pipeline project. The 170-km long pipeline will connect Komotini in Greece with Stara Zagora in Bulgaria. It will have a transit capacity of 3bn cm/y, which could be increased to 5bn cm/y, with reverse flow capability.
