The Decreasing Production Pattern for an Oilfield-Illustrated by the Dawanqi Oilfield

Three methods are applied to study the decreasing production pattern of a complex sandstone reservoir with rolling exploitation and its annual output is ever increasing. Illustrated by Dawanqi Oilfield, the method of moving the start date of all producing wells to the same month has proved to be successful. This proposed method can also be used to study other sandstone reservoirs with similar situations.
