River pollution is a major challenge to South Africa's water resources. Rivers need all the help they can get from corporate and community clean-up initiatives.In a new clean-up partnership, the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg has formally adopted the Modderfontein Spruit in Gauteng, in partnership with the Department of Water Affairs, City of Ekurhuleni, the Gauteng Department of Basic Education, ERVVAT and Rand Water.
