Nobody knows what the future will hold. Will economic and geopolitical power move from the West to the East? Will climate change stay at the forefront of public concern and government policies? And if it does, what clean energy technology will be driving the way to a low carbon future? In response to such questions, Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA) has developed three separate scenarios that are designed to explore how several possible futures could unfold for clean energy technologies and the forces shaping these different futures.
