摘要

In order to study flame-retardant asphalt with storage stability, we added magnesium hydrate modified by different stearates to it. The result shows that, as the flame retardant is made from the magnesium hydrate modified by the zinc stearate, the stability of the flame-retardant asphalt is better than others. And the difference of the softening point between the lower is 1.2°C, which meets the requirement of lower than 1.5°C. As the addition of the modified magnesium hydrate reaches 2%, its synergistic effect with the magnesium hydrate is better than the smoke toxicity of the flame-retardant asphalt as it reaches security grade 1. The smoke density is 58 (smaller than 75), which meets the requirement of GB/T8627-1999; the oxygen index is 27, which reaches the flame-retardant grade 1.
