UK private fuel card hits problems

Efforts by a UK motorist to start an independent private fuel card have been hindered as it attempts to make an agreement with an oil company,according to market analyst Datamonitor.Although the card now has 200,000 more members than it reportedly needed to arrange a bulk discount,it is difficult for Pipeline to guarantee that members will use a single retailer for all their petrol purchasing and thus the sales needed to make the scheme viable.
