Marathon sells west Canadain E&P assets

Marathon is selling its upstream interests in western Canada to Husky Energy for US588mn.The assets include booked reserves of approximately 69mn boe and average net production of approximately 21,000 boe/d.The sale is part of Marathon's 2003 asset rationalisation programme announced earlier this year.
