As the demand for energy increases, new challenges and opportunities are emerging that are driving the industry to change and adapt, writes Adam Lomas, Vice President, Learning & Development, Shell Exploration and Production. The transfer of knowledge to younger generations is essential in order to meet evolving and increasing energy needs worldwide as a result of the 'big crew change' and consequent retirement of many of the world's most experienced technical professionals.
