Integrated energy policy for EU

The European Commission (EC) has proposed a package of measures to establish a new Energy Policy for Europe-to combat climate change and boost energy security and competitiveness in the European Union (EU).With a more than 50% chance of global temperatures rising by over 5°C during this century and EU emissions increasing by around 5% by 2030,Europe faces real challenges.
