Mr Jan Larsen passed away in October after a period of sickness. Jan had been with Maersk Oil for more than 30 years, working in the productior technology discipline, primarily focusing on production chemistry. He had a deep interest in oil field microbiology and devoted a lot of time and energy into developing tools and strategies to mitigate the impact of bacteria and other microorganisms in the oil industry.
