Deadline to submit ESOS energy audits is 5 December - how can the EI help?

Under Article 8 of the European Union (EU)'s Energy Efficiency Directive, all member states are required to introduce a programme of regular energy audits for large organisations. The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is the UK government's approach to meeting the 20% reduction of the EU's primary energy consumption by 2020. In this instance 'large undertakings' in the UK are defined as organisations with at least 250 employees or an annual turnover and balance sheet exceeding ￡42.5mn and ￡36.5mn respectively.
