Challenges for Norwegian ops

Looking at the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for operators on the Norwegian Continental Shelf(NCS),Norwegian Petroleum Directorate(NPD)Director General Gunnar Berge,recently stated that about 12.8bn cme(6.8bn cme oil;6bn cme gas)of the total resources in place on the NCS are regarded as commercially recoverable.This is a dynamic estimate,and depends on the willingness of licensees to sanction exploration,development and measures to increase the recovery factor on oroducina fields,he commented.
