Keep in touch with the EI and make the most of your membership

Many EI members will know that the main way in which the EI communicates with them is by email. The only post you might ever receive is this magazine and your membership renewal. Increasingly, even renewal notices are managed by email so your email address is probably the single most important piece of data we hold about you. We have been working hard at encouraging members to provide at least one email address. So much so that, over the years, the percentage of members we can contact via email has increased to 94%. This of course helps to keep EI costs down, reduces our printing requirements and helps us to keep membership fees low. As your circumstances change over time, these email addresses might change as well and, unless you notify us, we can end up losing touch with you.
