Most large international oil companies (lOCs) and major service providers go to great lengths to showcase their investment in R&D; explaining how this investment supports their corporate strategy and drives their E&P success. However, there is much less discussion about the role of technology in supporting strategy and performance for the midsized upstream oil and gas companies.
