Bulgaria and Greece strike gas interconnector agreement

Gas network operators in Bulgaria and Greece have signed an interconnection agreement allowing gas- including LNG -to be transported between the two countries, starting 1 July 2016, writes Keith Nuthall. The deal was struck between the network operators for Bulgaria and Greece - Bulgartransgaz and DESFA. It will enable companies from both sides and other countries to make north- or southbound deliveries, boosting gas movements between Greece, Turkey, Macedonia and Ukraine.
