Clipper S onstream

RWE Dea UK has delivered first gas from the Clipper South field in southern North Sea blocks 48/19 and 48/20. The first well came onstream at initial rates of 1.2mn cm/d. Production is expected to peak at 2.8mn cm/d in early 2013. The field contains around 13.4bn cm of gas in place. RWE Dea holds a 50% interest in the Clipper South gas field. as operator, partnered by Bayerngas Europe (25%), Fairfield Acer (24%) and Fairfield Cedrus (1 %).
