Incentives for reducing energy consumption have been introduced by governments around the world. This has especially impacted in the design of high-energy consumers such as compressors. In spite of energy still being relatively cheap in South Africa, the industry here stands to benefit from similar local incentive schemes through machinery designed specifically around reducing energy consumption.
