Beetle Legend Lives On

A sticker on the rear window of an exquisite 1960 VW Beetle which said "driving a legend" prompted us to look a little closer into the history of the German car that first came off the production line in 1945. The 21,529,464th Beetle was built in Mexico last year. Professor Ferdinand Porsche, who designed the Beetle, would have been proud in spite of sayings such as "the Beetle is Hitler's revenge on the world."
