摘要

Global demand for energy is expected to grow by"more than 50% by 2030. How national oil companies (NOCs) -who control 72% of the world's oil reserves - respond to this challenge will have a significant impact on the stability of oil and gas markets in the future. In one of the first surveys of its kind, KPMG International sponsored Dr Valerie Marcel, Associate Fellow at Chatham House, to interview some of the world's largest and fast-growing NOCs to find out first hand about what they think are the biggest issues for the next decade. Anthony Lobo (right), Partner, Head of Oil and Gas, KPMG in the UK, summarises Dr Marcel's findings.
