Tesco began running three-quarters of its UK distribution fleet,some 2,000 vehicles,on 50% biodiesel blend (B50) from January 2007.The move sees Tesco extend its commitment to biofuels usage by ensuring not only that biofuel blends are stocked on the forecourt,but also by adopting what is claimed to be the highest percentage blend of biodiesel to be used by a major UK distribution fleet to date.
