A series of innovative gas-handling hydraulic submersible pumps (HSPs) on Area B of the North Sea Captain field have just completed more than six months of successful operation. Texaco is currently assessing the potential of Area C, further to the east of the field, while Weir Pumps, developer or the HSPs, is anticipating an increased demand for its innovative products.
