BP Azerbaijan President Bill Schrader recently provided journalists with an update on BP's Caspian operations.He first addressed activities at the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli(ACG)field,where BP is operator,with a 34.1% stake,partnered by Chevron(10.2%),Socar(10%),Inpex(10%),StatoilHydro(8.6%),ExxonMobil(8%),TPAO(6.8%),Devon(5.6%),Itochu(3.9%)and Hess(2.7%).During the first nine months of 2007,the company produced a total of about 180mn barrels from the Chirag,Central Azeri(CA),West Azeri(WA)and East Azeri(EA)platforms.Current total daily production is around 720,000 b/d,with an average of 674,000 b/d from the four platforms forecast by year-end.
