Statoil acting President looks to the future

Speaking to journalists in Stavanger on 1 April 2004,Statoil's acting President and CEO Erling Overland,outlined a number of financial and operational indicators and targets for 2004 and 2007.Return on average capital expenditure(RoACE;normalised)for this year was put at 12%,with 12.5% targeted in 2007.Production in 2004 was forecast to reach 1.12mn boe/d,rising to 1.35mn boe/d in 2007.Finding and development(F&D)costs(over a three-year average)were expected to remain stable at
