The UK government's Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) announced in early November that Andy Samuel will be the CEO of the new Oil and Gas Authority (OGA), which will be responsible for implementing the findings of the Wood Review to ensure industry continues to maximise economic recovery from the UKCS. Samuel is currently Managing Director of BG Group's Exploration and Production in Europe.
