Writing a good patent application

A patent application typically includes a written description of an invention, also referred to as a 'patent specification', and claims. Patent specification sufficiently describes the manner and process of making and using the invention, and claims define the legal boundaries of patent protection. A proper understanding of an invention along with its surrounding technology is of key importance before starting patent preparation. Multiple characteristics can be attributed to a well-written patent draft based on the overall objective. A few important points will be discussed herein.
