Fast Assignment of Image Patterns in Arbitrary Positions: Feature Space

摘要

The paper describes methods and features for two-dimensional image recognition. The proposed features allow one to use the method of potential functions and to train a system on certain examples. A method of extraction of an object’s position and size is outlined and used further for object identification and feature calculation. The methods use vector descriptions of images obtained by vectorization of the segments’ borders.
