Image-Based Modeling and Its Application in Image Processing

摘要

This paper describes the recording and self-calibration of lightfields as an approach to purely image-based modeling of a scene or object. The application of lightfields is shown through the example of self-localization of a robot and as a support for laparoscopic surgery.
