PRIZM: A Generator of Image Understanding Systems

摘要

During the development of image understanding systems a package of methods is formed for segmentation, feature formation, object identification, scene analysis, and other tools. In this paper, an approach that permits a combination of these tools in the framework of an integrated system possessing the properties of visual programming is proposed. For a given set of images and their samples, the proposed system PRIZM permits us to select the appropriate processing and identification methods with corresponding parameters and to generate a specialized PRIZM-estranged image understanding system.
