摘要

Algorithms of the thinning of the gray-scale and color images are proposed. The basis for the thinning of a gray-scale image is a layer-by-layer analysis of a binary image for each level. In order to make the color images thinner, a specially designed frame of reference for color representation is introduced. The proposed algorithms are tested on the images of complex medical objects.
