A survey of individual chemists and a study of Presidential Green Chemistry Award applications suggest policy and regulation are playing a significant role in the development of green chemistry innovations. Initial results from an Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development-sponsored survey and a study by a McGill University doctoral student were presented Wednesday at the American Chemical Society's 15~(th) Annual Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference.
