Applications received to register pesticide products containing new active ingredients

On June 27 (77 FR 38285), EPA issued a notice announcing the receipt of the following applications to register pesticide products containing new active ingredients not included in any currently registered products: Docket No. EPA-HQ-OPP-2011-0971, Nichino America, Inc., Wilmington, Del., to register: (I) Pyrifluquiriazon Technical containing the active ingredient pyrifluquinazon: [1-acetyl-l,2,3,4-tetrahydro-3-[(3-pyridylmentyl) amino]-6- [ 1,2,2,2-tetrafluoro-1 -(trifluoromethyl)ethyl]quinazolin-2-one] at 99.50%, for use in the formulation of products for indoor greenhouse use on ornamental plants and (2) Pyrifluquinazon Insecticide containing the active ingredient pyrifluquinazon at 20.0% for indoor greenhouse use on ornamental plants.
