摘要

This article describes the symptoms of histoplasmosis and mentions its economic impact. Strategies to reduce the risk of breathing Histoplasma capsulatum spores among pest management professionals are also discussed. Safety precautions in roosts, which can be potentially contaminated with H. capsulatum, are also given.
