Judge sets deadline for parties to reach initial settlement in pesticide-ESA Mega-Suit

A federal judge expressed concerns last week about the pace of negotiations for a possible settlement of a lawsuit filed by two nongovernmental groups in January 2011 over the alleged failure by EPA to consult with federal wildlife agencies regarding the impacts of about 380 pesticides on more than 200 endangered and threatened species.
