Consumers and food retailers will accept if not embrace crop protection

Food retailers and agrochemical regulators exchanged warm words as they looked to each other to promote and employ crop protection as a tool to evade a looming crisis in food and even national security at the 11~(th) AgChem Forum in Barcelona, Sept. 7-8. Three keynote speakers delivered their knowledge and views to the audience. Jim Jefcoate from U.K. supermarket Asda's subsidiary, International Produce, contrasted the food security in wealthy northern countries and the southern developing world.
