EU issues draft agchem labeling rules

The European Commission has drawn up a draft regulation on agrochemical product labeling, as part of the implementing rules of the new EU agrochemical registration regulation (1107/2009). It will continue to apply labeling requirements already in place under the EU agrochemical registration directive (91/414), together with additional provisions concerning packaging re-use and experimental products. The labeling regulation is one of five separate pieces of legislation that the commission has to adopt by June 14.
