The European Chemicals Agency is reminding companies that they have to notify it by June 1 about substances of very high concern (SVHCs) that are in the articles they produce. With just more than a month to go before the deadline, ECHA issued a statement April 13 specifying that manufacturers should notify it of certain SVHCs in articles at over 0.1% by weight when the quantity of these substances in those articles is over 1 metric ton per producer/importer per year.
