Abu Dhabi Picks Shell for Bab Sour Gas Scheme

State-owned Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc) has selected Royal Dutch Shell to lead its Bab sour gas project, edging out France's Total, industry sources have told PIW. Adnoc has made its recommendation to the government and the award will be announced "any minute now," Mohammed Sahoo al-Suwaidi, head of Adnoc's gas directorate, said on the sidelines of last week's inauguration of Abu Dhabi's Shams-1 solar project (p7).
