California: In a survey conducted by researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, formaldehyde concentrations in 35 of the 40 daycare centers exceeded state guidelines. The survey is the "first detailed analysis of environmental contaminants and exposures" of daycare centers in the state, according to a UC Berkeley press release. California: In a California Department of Pesticide Regulations notice (2012-12) on existing stocks of pesticides, DPR said it will allow registrants to continue to sell and distribute in the state EPA-registered pesticides with a previously DPR-approved version of an amended label, "provided the sale is consistent with U.S. EPA's existing stocks provisions."
