Tolerances issued for fluazinam, metconazole

In the Nov. 7 Federal Register ill FR 66112,), EPA issued a final rule amending §180.574 by establishing tolerances for residues of the fungicide fluazinam, (3-chloro-N-[3-chloro-2,6-dinitro-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-5-(trifluoromethyl)-2-pyridinamine), in or on: melon subgroup 9A at 0.07 ppm; pepper/eggplant subgroup 8-1 OB at 0.09 ppm; soybean, seed at 0.01 ppm; and soybean, hulls at 0.05 ppm. On March 14, EPA announced that the Interregional Research Project No. 4, Princeton, N.J., had petitioned for the melon and pepper/eggplant tolerances. The agency issued a notice July 25 announcing that ISK Biosciences Corporation, Concord, Ohio, had petitioned for the soybean tolerances. There were no comments received in response to the petition filed by ISK Biosciences Corporation.
