摘要

Most ants occurring around structures have a preference for "eating out", that is, food that is not produced within the nest. This article examines this behaviour of ants, and discusses the crucial role of breaking the "fast food" habit in ant management, which includes both identification of the ant species and the inspection that can be divided into several areas: the initial contact, the on-site inspection, and the follow-up.
