FORMULA PRICES - Saudi Arabia followed major market trends in setting differentials for September crude loadings to its key market of Asia, widening discounts for its heaviest grades and narrowing the premium for Arab Light. The adjustments followed the recent slight weakening in margins for fuel oil and improvements in margins for diesel and naphtha. For shipments to Europe loading in September, differentials were raised drastically, reflecting the recent strengthening of Russian Urals in both the Mediterranean and Northwest Europe. Adjustments for US term prices, like Asia, followed recent market developments. Following are Saudi Aramco differentials to Asci in the US, Brent-weighted averages in Europe and Oman-Dubai in Asia (PIW Jul.9' 12).
