Proposal to synchronize expiration dates for pesticide applicator certificates

On June 24 (76 FR 37045), EPA issued a proposal to amend 40 CFR 171.11(e) by synchronizing the expiration dates of EPA pesticide applicator certificates with underlying state or tribal application certificates. Applicator certificates are required for the application of restricted use pesticides, defined as those which may generally cause unreasonable adverse effects on the environment without additional restrictions.
